To uplift my career

I have completed my B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from AUST at the begining of 2005 and i am working on my teacher's consulting firm since then. In this four years, i have worked on manual design of building structures, drafting, also design with software STAAD PRO and from last one and half year i am working of tender preparation as my boss/teacher influenced me to do. As I worked on different type of works on different time, i can do all these works to some extend but i dont have confidence to do one of those work with 100% confidence. Now it seems to me that I just had lost few years of my career. I need suggestion, what should i do right now, should i continue this job or change this job and to concentrate to one type of job as like as either design or tender preparation. It is also a matter to think that i am a lady. If i want to build my career in design, what will be my first step right now?

From your email, I feel that, you have a self-dependent personality which drives you to push for something on your own. This is 'ENTREPRENURSHIP'. Don't loose this from your focus. If you are not confident, now, to start something on your own - don't disheartened. Keep your mind and eyes open and wait for the confidence to grow.
